A valuable idea for organizing attractions during trips is a visit to an interesting place, from which the youngest will leave with new knowledge. The offer of the Museum of Land Forces in Bydgoszcz for primary schools, apart from the presentation of the facility’s resources with a guide, also includes educational historical workshops for children. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the list of topics we propose – we discuss, for example, national symbols, the history of Polish uniforms or weapon designs in an accessible way. It is also possible to submit an inquiry to the lecturer in case of need to raise other issues. What are the workshops at the Land Forces Museum like? The educational offer for primary schools in Bydgoszcz consists of interesting and engaging activities, such as museum lessons with the use of modern audiovisual technologies. Our employees use examples from pop culture known and liked by the youngest and compare them with the resources of the facility. Lessons for children combine the discussion of exhibits with elements of discussion and creative methods. The Land Forces Museum in Bydgoszcz has prepared an educational offer for various age groups of children and teenagers. Museum lessons have been prepared and are conducted by experienced employees of our facility. Here is our suggested topics:

“What is a tank?” – discussion of the basic division of tanks and ways of using them. Presentation of basic models on the example of movies and computer games. Show combined with a presentation. (Łukasz Skoczek)
“How does a rifle work?” – basic concepts regarding the division into types of small arms and ammunition. A simple explanation of how weapons work. Everything on the example of real copies and examples from movies and computer games. Any topic to be agreed with the teacher.
