The temporary exhibition “Welcome the White Eagle …”
We cordially invite you to the photo exhibition "Welcome to the White Eagle ..." dedicated to the hundredth anniversary of Bydgoszcz's return to the motherland. The presented photos come from their own collections, some of them were obtained from the Bydgoszcz Canal Museum, the District Museum of Leon Wyczółkowski and the Military Historical Bureau. The photographic material illustrates the entry of the Polish Army soldiers to Bydgoszcz on January 20, 1920 and the arrival of General Dowbor-Muśnicki to Bydgoszcz along with the field mass in the Old Market Square and the parade on Gdańska Street on January 22, 1920. The title of the exhibition refers to the content of the welcome speech given by Dr. Jan Biziel.
